Our Mission

At Movin’ N’ Groovin’ Kids Athletics, our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of movement by providing fun, engaging, and non-competitive fitness experiences for children ages 18 months to 12 years. Through our mobile classes in yoga, fitness, agility, swimming, and multi-sport activities, we focus on the whole child—building confidence, self-esteem, and a strong physical foundation for a healthy, active life.

All About Us

Movin’ N’ Groovin Kids Athletics is a mobile children's athletic program serving Lexington, Irmo, and surrounding areas. We bring the fun to your community with high-energy, age-appropriate classes designed to keep kids moving, laughing, and learning.
From toddler to tween, our classes in yoga, fitness, agility, swimming, and multi-sport activities are built around one goal: to help kids develop strength, coordination, motor skills, and sport skills while also boosting their confidence, focus, and love for physical activity.
We believe in progress over perfection and movement over medals. Our non-competitive approach allows every child to shine, no matter their skill level. By meeting kids where they are and celebrating every milestone, we lay the groundwork for a lifetime of healthy habits and joyful movement.

Swim Lessons

For boys and girls ages 18 months through adult, our swim lessons focus on making water fun and comfortable for kids, starting with acclimation and basic water safety skills like floating, kicking, breathing, underwater comfort, back crawl/glide, and jumping in safely to reach the edge. We emphasize a positive and patient approach to create a joyful and confident experience, helping kids develop a love for swimming. Once they’ve mastered these foundational skills in all water depths, including jumping off the diving board, we move on to teaching strokes and technique to build coordination and endurance.

Kids Fitness

Looking for a fun and energetic way to keep your kids active and healthy? Our Kids Fitness Class for boys and girls ages 6 and up is the perfect fit! This dynamic class introduces children to proper form and technique while exploring a wide variety of exercises, including aerobics, exercise circuits, speed training, plyometrics, yoga, weight lifting, and more. Designed to build coordination, strength, agility, flexibility, balance, and speed, every session is packed with engaging activities and fitness games that make staying active exciting. Kids Yoga

Discover the joy of movement and mindfulness in our Kids Yoga Class, specially designed for boys and girls ages 3 and up! This unique experience helps children build flexibility, strength, and balance through fun and engaging yoga flows. With lively music and colorful props, every class is filled with energy and excitement that keeps kids motivated and smiling. Beyond physical benefits, kids also learn important skills like mindfulness, patience, and improved focus—all in a playful and supportive environment. Yoga/Fitness, Movement,
and More

Get ready for a fun-filled adventure in movement! Offered at local gyms, rec centers, and daycares, Yoga, Fitness, Movement, and More is an exciting preschool physical education class designed especially for ages 3–5. This high-energy program combines fitness, yoga, circuits, sports games, and creative play to help young children build strength, flexibility, balance, agility, coordination, and sports skills in a joyful and engaging way. With lively music, colorful props, and imaginative activities, kids stay active and smiling from start to finish. More than just physical fitness, each class encourages social-emotional growth by teaching mindfulness, empathy, teamwork, patience, and listening—laying the foundation for confidence, connection, and lifelong healthy habits. Multi-Sport Camps

Get ready for the ultimate summer adventure at our Multisport Camp designed for boys and girls ages 6-12! This action-packed week is filled with all your favorite sports and exciting PE activities, from volleyball to basket basketball, relay races and obstacle courses to parachute and other cooperative games, this week is sure to get you Movin' N' Groovin'. Whether you're a beginner or a budding athlete, our friendly coaches will help you learn new skills, make new friends, and most importantly, have a blast! Join us for a week of energy, teamwork, and non-stop fun that will be the highlight of your summer.

Homeschool
PE Program

Our Homeschool PE class offers a dynamic and engaging traditional physical education experience designed specifically for homeschool students aged 4-12. Kids will enjoy a well-rounded program that includes skill-building drills in multiple sports, cooperative games, and all their favorite classic PE activities—think dodgeball, basketball, relay races, parachute games, and much more! This class promotes physical fitness, teamwork, skill development, coordination, and confidence in a fun, encouraging environment. It's the perfect way for homeschoolers to stay active, socialize, and develop a lifelong love for movement and sports.
